Kaighins in Census Records

The below pages contain census records where
Kaighins can be found. Census data of
approximately 500 individuals in
142 Kaighin families was captured in publicly available census records
between 1841 and 1930. There are 481 census images contained within. These pages are indexed by family grouping
and where known, each
family is hyperlinked to their parent and children families. In many instances it is possible to trace up
to five generations
of one family by clicking on the parent or child families links. The images come from the following censuses, except
for the 1841 IOM census. The 1841
census data is taken from an “An Edited Alphabetical Index to the Census of
1841 for the Brian Lawson and contains no images. The 1890 century
which destroyed most of those census records.
This data is not inclusive of all Kaighins during
this time period. No records are
available for Kaighins in included
in this body of data. To search for a Kaighin ancestor, use the following
pages which are sorted alphabetically by first name, then click on the
link or links on the right side. This
will take you to that family’s census data page. On each family census data page,
links can be found on the right side that will take you directly to the
census image for that family and year.
As a convenience, skeleton data (birth/christening,
marriage, death, parents and spouses) for each family has been included
on each family census data page. If
