Kaighin, 1866

At a Chapter Court
held in Peel on the 9th day of November 1866. It being
proved that John Kaighin of Ballaquine in the
parish of German on or about the day October 1866 departed this life
intestate. This court hath decreed
John Kaighin son of the deceased administrator of all and singular the
personal estate and effects of said deceased, and accordingly he is sworn
well and truly to administer the said estate and effects of the said deceased
by paying his just debts and funeral expenses so far forth as the said estate
and effects will extend and the law bind him And distributing the residue
thereof according to law, and to return to the Episcopal Registry of this
Diocese as full, true, and perfect inventory thereof, with an accurate
account of his acts and proceedings in the premises when thereunto lawfully
required; and to these ends he hath given pledges namely Daniel Christian Daugherdy of Ballahow in the
parish of St Ann and John Quayle of Ballcraine in
the parish of Michael who have entered into and executed the usual bond in
presence of the court.
