I Thomas Kaighin of the estate of Ballagarret in the parish of KK Bride

calling to mind the uncertainty of human life do make declare and

publish this my last will and testament in manner following.

I commend my soul to God and my body to a Christian burial.

I give leave and bequeath to my daughter Eliza Alice Kaighin a feather

bed and bedding or the sum of five pounds instead of the same as my executor will chose to give.

I give leave and bequeath all the rest of my personal and real property of every denomination and occupation to my son and heir John Thomas

Kaighin  now residing with me and I nominate constitute and appoint my said son John Thomas Kaighin whole and sole executor of this my last

will and testament in witness whereof I subscribed my name hereunto

this the sixteenth day of September eighteen hundred and seventy the 16th of September in the years of our Lord 1870

At a Chapter Court held at Ramsey on the ---- day of May 1882.

William Cormode one of the subscribing witnesses to the execution of

the foregoing paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Thomas Kaighin held at Ballagarrett in the parish of Bride deceased who died on or about the 18th day of April 1882 having made oath on the Holy Evangelists that the testator Thomas Kaighin whereof sound and disposing mind memory and understanding duly signed and acknowledged the same as and for his last will and testament in the presence and in the presence of James Kaighin the other subscribing witness.

John Thomas Kaighin sworn well and truly to fufill and execute the said

Will Eliza Alice Kaighin Callister and Thomas Callister received 5 pounds dtd 25 Feb 1892.
