Will of Joney Cannell als Kaighin

Kirk Michael 1748

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Joney Cannell als

Kaighin of KK Michael who departed this life about the tenth of June last

being sound in perfect mind and memory at makeing of the same first she

comitted her soul to Almighty God and her body to Xtian burial.

ITEM - She left unto her son Charles Cannell all her share of the boat and

what belong to the said boat as legacy.

ITEM - She left unto her daughter Alice Cannell the white chest and her

share of the pewter and one of the tubs and she share of the woolen yarn as

legacy.

ITEM - She left unto her son Thomas Cannell her riding hood.

ITEM - She left unto her son John Cannell ten shillings as legacy.

ITEM - She left unto her daughter Catherin ten shillings and her share of

the crop of corn which grew in the croft as legacy.

ITEM - Further more she left unto the above said Alice Cannell her share of

the little heiffer.

LASTLY - She nominated and appointed her son Charles Cannell sole executor

of all the rest of her goods moveable and immovable and whatsoever.  And

this in presence of John Corlet and William Quayle.

At a Chapter Court at KK Michael Oct 24th 1748 - The executor is sworn in

Court in form of law as also to bring to the Registry an inventory of the

crop left unto Cath a minor - Pledges for payment of debts and legacys are

John Cain and Wm Quayle the witnesses.
