Will of William Kaighin

At a Consistory Court holden in KK Michael before the Reverend John Cosnahan and Edward Moore Vicars General upon Wednesday the 8th of April 1741. William Kaighin, Taylor, a native of KK Michael within the Diocese of Sodor and Man persished upon the coast of England on or about the 19th of January last intestate.  The court upon intelligence thereof hath decreed his brothers and sisters viz: John, Thomas, Philip, Jony and Ellinor Kaighin joint administrators of all his goods moveable and immoveable whasoever. Ellinor being absent.  The other four are sworn to being to the Registry a perfect inventory of the effects of the deceased.  To pay his just debts according to law and to be true the one to the other, as also to Ellinor who is absent in division of the goods.  To which end and for security of the office they have given pledges viz: John Kaighin  Balna Cregg and John Quayle of Peeltown.
