Anne Kaighin als Ervin, 1758

This being the last will and testament of Anne Kaighin als Ervin of

Peeltown who departed this life the 28th of March 1758.  She being in

perfect mind and memory at the making or uttering hereof.

First committed her soul to Almighty God and her body to Christian

burial.

Item She left to her grandchild Margaret Kaighin five shillings as legacy to be given her of the rent of the house where her son Henry now dwells.

Item She left to her grandchild Anne Kaighin daughter of David Kaighin

her wearing gown.

Item She left to her grandchild Cathrine Knight a drogget petticoat.

Item She left to her daughter Dorothy Clark als Kaighin all the rest of

her shaped clothes or apparel.

Lastly she nominated and appointed her loving son David Kaighin and her

daughter Dorothy Clark alias Kaighin to be whole and sole executors of

all the rest of her goods or effects moveable and immoveable of what nature or kind so ever.  She excluding any other person or person's whatsoever that may or can pretend to claim any further right to her goods or effects with six pence legacy a piece.

At a Chapter Court holden at Ballnyhown June 23d 1758.

David Kaighin and John Clark husband of Dorothy are sworn executors in form of law and have given pledges for payment of debts and legacys Henry Lace and John Cubbon the witness of the will.
