This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of John Kaighin of

Peeltown who departed this life on or about the 28th of Dec 1776 being

of sound and perfect mind and memory at the making or uttering hereof ---

are follows:

He committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian burial.

He left to his son in law Thomas Corkill all his cloathes and a big chest and five shillings.

He nominated and appointed his living son Thomas Kaighin to be whole

and sole executor of all the rest of his effects moveable and immovable

whatsoever.  And excluding any other persons or persons that might pretend to claim further right to his goods with six pence legacy a piece.

At a Chapter Court holden at Peeltown June 2d 1777

 the executor is sworn in court in form of law

 and hath given pledges for the payment of

debts and legacies Thomas Cummins and Thos Caine both of Peel

          Probatum est   Thomas Cubbon
