Ann Kaighin als Taylor, 1841

This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Ann Kaighin alias

Taylor who is weak in body but of a sound mind and memory at the

making hereof.

First I leave and bequeath unto my son William Kaighin the sum of one pounds.

Item I leave and bequeath unto my son John Kaighin the sum of one pounds

Item I leave and bequeath unto my daughter Elinor Kaighin the sum of one pound and all my close.

And Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my beloved husband John Kaighin whole and sole executor of all the rest of my goods and effect of what kind or denomination so ever And likewise all my rights of the

house we live in and the garden and I do debar all others that claims in my will with a legacy according to law as witness my name or mark to

my name this 23d day of August 1841

At a Chapter Court holden at Kirk Michael 25th November 1841.  The executor is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for the payment of debts and legacies namely Henry Clucas and Thomas Craine both of Peel in the parish of German
